Terms and Conditions

You have made the awesome decision to enhance your life through financial coaching. Whether clients are 26, 46, or 70 they all share ‘I wish I had done this when I was younger.’ Coaching will impact not only your finances but every area of your life (faith, health, work life balance, vocation, marriage, etc.). I’m excited to work with you toward sustainable transformation! 

As your coach, I am 100% committed to your success. I will be an open listener and provide honest feedback, without judgment or bias. I can serve you best when you communicate openly and honestly about your personal goals, desires, needs and wants. We will construct a unique plan for your success customized to your specific situation and goals. To help you prepare for and get the most from coaching, review this agreement. 

As your coach, you can expect me to:

· Be a partner in bringing out the best, the deepest, and the truest in you. You can be assured that your program will be fully customized to your unique situation and needs - this is not a cookie-cutter plan

· Provide encouragement, support, and accountability in an environment where you can relax and explore

· Respect the confidentiality of every encounter, whether during our coaching sessions or within the coaching platform - you are in a safe and non-judgmental place

· Expand your view of what is possible and promote discovery of new insights

· Give you input and straight feedback and operate as a sounding board

· Listen carefully to what you say and ask questions to increase your awareness

· Be fully prepared for each session

I expect that you, as my client, will:

· Communicate openly with me

· Commit to trying new approaches, tactics and strategies

· Keep an open mind

· Commit to following through

· Be open to my feedback and keep me honestly informed as to what is and is not working for you

· Take ownership of your progress and your accomplishments

· Take responsibility for your coaching time by putting it on your calendar and prioritizing our sessions

· Complete or attempt to complete all exercises and assignments

· Devote at least 1 hour/week to the program

CONFIDENTIALITY

I will not disclose or use, either during or after the term of this AGREEMENT, any proprietary or confidential information of yours without your prior written permission except to the extent necessary to perform services on your behalf. Proprietary or confidential information includes but is not limited to: any audio, video, or printed communications done through digital means including but not limited to cell phones, live streaming, text messages, and live chat; any written, printed, graphic, or electronically recorded materials furnished by you for me to use. 

All of your information and what we discuss as part of this AGREEMENT remain confidential between the parties to this AGREEMENT.

DISSATISFACTION WITH SERVICE 

If you are unhappy with the SERVICE(S) you receive, then you must contact the Odyssey Financial Coaching within 30 days following the SERVICE(S) you received to discuss the available options.

WARRANTY OF SERVICES

I (Odyssey Financial Coaching) shall provide all SERVICES honestly and in good faith and with the highest possible degree of professionalism, care, skill, diligence and responsiveness and in any case no less than with a reasonable degree of care, skill, diligence and responsiveness consistent with industry standards. 

Due to the nature of the service(s) provided, your individual results will vary depending on the individual nature of your personal finances and a variety of other factors that are outside the scope of the financial coaching relationship. As a result, I cannot make individual guarantees regarding the SERVICE(S) you receive.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

Odyssey Financial Coaching is providing SERVICE(S) to you and if in the course of this AGREEMENT, you learn the techniques of Odyssey Financial Coaching, you cannot use these techniques to imitate, start, or compete with Odyssey Financial Coaching. If Odyssey Financial Coaching learns that you entered into the AGREEMENT for the purpose of learning the it's techniques, Odyssey Financial Coaching reserves all legal remedies available to it to safeguard and protect it's business and or intellectual property. 

CHOICE OF LAW AND VENUE

These TERMS are governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Louisiana without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law. 

We agree to submit any dispute or controversy arising out of, or relating to these TERMS to arbitration in the State of [Louisiana] according to the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration decision is binding upon us and our successors in interest. 

SEVERABILITY

If any of the sections or terms of this AGREEMENT are determined to be invalid or unenforceable, then only that section or term is affected. The invalidity or unenforceability of a section or term does not affect the other parts or terms of the AGREEMENT.
